Internal Developer Platform with Port for Klap (ISWITCH), a payments fintech
Klap (ISWITCH S.A.) is a Chilean payments fintech. In a project 100% funded by an AWS Partner program, Craftech implemented an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) based on Port, with a service catalog, self-service and integrations, delivered cleanly.
Challenge
Klap needed to improve its development teams' experience (DevEx) with an internal platform centralizing the service catalog, enabling self-service actions and connecting its existing tools, reducing operational friction.
Solution
Craftech implemented a Port-based IDP including a service catalog, self-service actions and integrations with Bitbucket, Dynatrace, Jira and AWS, with CI/CD and documentation. The delivery was complete and documented for the Klap team.
Results
Klap was left with an operational Port-based Internal Developer Platform, with a service catalog, self-service actions and integrations (Bitbucket, Dynatrace, Jira, AWS) and documentation. The project was 100% AWS Partner-funded; the handoff was clean (all tickets closed), with no follow-on evolution contract.
