Internal Developer Platform with Port for Klap, a payments fintech
Klap is a Chilean payments fintech operating a broad merchant network. In a project 100% funded by an AWS Partner program, Craftech implemented an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) based on Port, with a service catalog, self-service actions and integrations with the tools the team already used.
Challenge
Klap needed to improve its development teams' experience (DevEx) with an internal platform centralizing the service catalog, enabling self-service actions and connecting its existing tools, reducing operational friction.
Solution
Craftech implemented a Port-based IDP including a service catalog, self-service actions and integrations with Bitbucket, Dynatrace, Jira and AWS, with CI/CD and documentation. The platform was left operational and documented for the Klap team.
Results
Klap was left with an operational Port-based Internal Developer Platform: a centralized service catalog, self-service actions and integrations with Bitbucket, Dynatrace, Jira and AWS, plus documentation for the team. The project was 100% funded by an AWS Partner program.
