Kubernetes platform with managed secrets and observability for Aimsio (Field Service Management)
Aimsio is a Calgary, Canada SaaS for Field Service Management. Craftech deployed and operated a complex AWS platform for Aimsio with EKS, secrets management with Vault and observability with Datadog and Prometheus, with activity concentrated in 2022-2023.
Challenge
As a multi-environment field-service SaaS, Aimsio needed a robust Kubernetes platform with secure secrets management, full observability and environment separation to sustain its product in production.
Solution
Craftech implemented EKS on AWS with HashiCorp Vault and external-secrets for secure credential management, observability with Datadog and Prometheus, and a multi-environment architecture. The stack was left installed as a high-maintenance-value operational foundation.
Results
Aimsio was left with a managed, observable Kubernetes platform on AWS (EKS + Vault + Datadog + Prometheus + external-secrets, multi-environment). The relationship had no formal follow-on support; the AWS account is referenced in internal documentation updated in 2026, a sign the infra may still be active.
