Disaster Recovery & Resiliency

Make an outage a non-event, not a crisis

Disaster Recovery and multi-region on AWS with defined RTO/RPO. High availability and tested resilience — not assumed.

Defined RTO/RPO · tested failover

The problem

  • You have no DR plan, or you have one in a document you never tested.
  • Your RTO and RPO are unknowns: you don't know how much you'd lose or how long to recover.
  • You run in a single region: a regional incident takes you down.
  • You've never run a real failover, so you don't know if it works.

What's included

  • DR strategy by criticality: backup/restore, pilot light, warm standby or multi-site.
  • Multi-region design for high availability and resilience.
  • Per-workload RTO and RPO targets, aligned with the business.
  • Clear failover runbooks, executable under pressure.
  • DR drills (game days) to validate it actually works.

DR you test, not DR you assume

A DR plan that was never executed is a sheet of paper. We run failover game days so that, when it really happens, your team has already done it and the RTO/RPO numbers are real.

How we work

01

Discovery

We identify critical workloads and define RTO/RPO targets with the business, not just IT.

02

Plan & Quote

We design the DR strategy by criticality and cost, with clear scope and price.

03

Execution

We implement DR and, where it fits, multi-region, with IaC. We document failover runbooks.

04

Hand-off & MSP

We run a game day with your team and leave everything tested. Optionally we operate and test DR continuously.

FAQ

What's the difference between RTO and RPO?

RTO is how long until you're operational again; RPO is how much data you can lose. We define them per workload based on what the business tolerates.

Do I absolutely need multi-region?

Not always. For many cases a solid backup/restore or warm standby strategy is enough. Multi-region is justified when the cost of an outage warrants it.

Why do you insist on testing DR?

Because untested DR tends to fail right when you need it. The game day turns the plan into a real capability of your team.

How much does DR cost?

It depends on the strategy: backup/restore is cheap, multi-site is more expensive. We design the right balance of cost and risk for your case.
