GCP-to-AWS migration for RueData with full observability and security
RueData is a SaaS company providing data analytics for vehicle fleets. Craftech executed its multi-cloud migration from GCP to AWS, with a multi-account architecture and a complete observability and security stack.
Challenge
RueData needed to move its analytics platform from GCP to AWS with a multi-account design, end-to-end observability and solid security controls to operate fleet data.
Solution
Craftech executed the migration to AWS on Amazon EKS with a multi-account structure, an observability stack of Grafana, Prometheus and Loki, and security controls with Security Hub, GuardDuty and IAM, all managed as infrastructure as code.
Results
The migration was completed in roughly four months, leaving RueData on AWS with full observability and security. The project was validated as an AWS success case.
