Architecture assessment and EKS migration plan for POAP
POAP is a platform in the blockchain / Web3 ecosystem. Craftech ran an assessment of its AWS architecture and produced a migration plan toward managed Kubernetes (EKS), surveying the existing infrastructure running on ECS.
Challenge
POAP ran on an ECS-based architecture with SQL Server and load balancers, and needed to evaluate a migration path toward EKS for more flexibility and operational control. The first step was to understand the existing infrastructure in detail and lay out a clear migration plan.
Solution
Craftech ran AWS architecture surveys and configuration work across production and non-production environments, delivering an EKS migration plan as the main artifact. The engagement combined survey and planning tasks, PRD/DEV configuration adjustments and tracking meetings with reports, along the identified ECS → EKS path.
Results
POAP ended up with a complete architecture assessment and an EKS migration SOW/plan as an actionable deliverable. The project closed after the assessment phase, without proceeding to the migration execution.
