Pan American Energy (PAE) is one of Argentina's largest energy companies. Craftech built an internal developer platform (IDP) on AWS for its development teams, backed by a microservices architecture on Kubernetes and messaging.
Challenge
PAE needed to standardize and provide self-service to its development teams over a demanding cloud infrastructure, with microservices and asynchronous messaging, reducing operational friction at large-enterprise scale.
Solution
Craftech built an internal developer platform (IDP) on AWS, on top of an Amazon EKS foundation with microservices, messaging and queues (RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS), Redis caching and a SQL Server engine, all managed with infrastructure as code.
Results
PAE was left with an IDP in production that standardizes how its development teams access the platform. The available sources do not expose verifiable quantitative business metrics.
