Pan American Energy (PAE) is one of Argentina's largest energy companies. Craftech built an internal developer platform (IDP) on AWS for its development teams, backed by a microservices architecture on Kubernetes and messaging.
Challenge
PAE needed to standardize and provide self-service to its development teams over a demanding cloud infrastructure, with microservices and asynchronous messaging, reducing operational friction at large-enterprise scale.
Solution
Craftech built an internal developer platform (IDP) on AWS, on top of an Amazon EKS foundation with microservices, messaging and queues (RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS), Redis caching and a SQL Server engine, all managed with infrastructure as code.
Results
PAE now has an IDP in production that standardizes how its development teams access the platform, built on a microservices foundation on Amazon EKS with asynchronous messaging and all infrastructure managed as code.
