Deployment automation and CI/CD for Nazaries
Nazaries is a Spanish company in the monitoring and ticketing space. Craftech worked with its team to standardize the build and deployment process for its applications, on a foundation of containers and automated pipelines.
Challenge
The team needed to organize and automate its deployment process, which relied on manual steps and poorly documented configuration. The goal was reliable build, test and deploy pipelines, plus reproducible container images.
Solution
Craftech standardized the CI/CD pipeline on Bitbucket Pipelines, separating build, test and deploy stages and parameterizing the build so the team could choose which release to deploy. It worked on dockerization and DockerHub configuration, automated SSH access setup and Capistrano-based deployment —including timeout tuning— and documented the process to reduce reliance on individual knowledge.
Results
Deployment became automated and parameterizable, with clearly separated build and test stages and a documented process. The work was concentrated in 2022 and the project was closed in an orderly fashion.
