Assessment and GitOps cloud platform on EKS in AWS for Koibanx (fintech/blockchain)
Koibanx is an Argentine fintech/blockchain company active across LATAM. Craftech worked with Koibanx on an intensive three-month project over a complex AWS cloud infrastructure, with EKS, GitOps and security, leaving a cordial relationship open for the future.
Challenge
Koibanx needed to assess and build a modern, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS for its fintech/blockchain operation, with GitOps deployments, high operational intensity and perimeter security.
Solution
Craftech built/assessed an AWS platform with EKS for workloads, VPC for networking, RDS for persistence, ArgoCD and Atlantis for GitOps (apps and infrastructure) and AWS WAF for protection, in a high-intensity project (50 Jira tickets in three months).
Results
Koibanx was left with an AWS infrastructure built during the assessment (EKS + GitOps + WAF). The relationship closed cordially —Notion records 'we hope they come back later'— with no follow-on MSP contract; it remains to verify whether they actually migrated to AWS or stayed on GCP.
