Kubernetes platform with runtime security and GitLab CI on AWS for IONIX, a regulated payments fintech
IONIX is a Chilean software factory / fintech for digital payments and wallets in a regulated sector. Since 2021 Craftech deployed a high-grade platform on AWS with EKS, infrastructure as code and runtime security, likely in production ever since.
Challenge
As a regulated payments fintech, IONIX needed a secure, reproducible Kubernetes platform with runtime security, secrets management, observability and reliable CI pipelines to sustain its sensitive operation.
Solution
Craftech implemented EKS on AWS with Terraform and Helm for infrastructure as code, HashiCorp Vault for secrets, Falco for runtime threat detection, observability with Prometheus and Grafana, alerting with OpsGenie and pipelines with GitLab CI.
Results
IONIX was left with a modern, secure fintech platform on AWS (EKS + Vault + Falco + Prometheus/Grafana + GitLab CI), likely in production since 2021. The relationship had no formal follow-on support; a guaranteed post-contract hourly rate was never used, leaving the door open to continuity.
