Multi-region AWS infrastructure with high availability for hotel SaaS Hoteligy
Hoteligy is a Spanish hotel SaaS. Craftech operated its infrastructure on AWS in a multi-region setup with high-availability databases, in a collaborative engagement co-funded through AWS Partner Funding.
Challenge
As a hotel SaaS, Hoteligy needed a resilient, available infrastructure to sustain its service: connectivity between networks, databases with failover, and a multi-region architecture providing fault tolerance, while keeping costs under control with AWS support.
Solution
Craftech operated Hoteligy's infrastructure on AWS in a multi-region setup: VPC Peering to connect networks, a multi-AZ Amazon RDS cluster with failover in production, storage on S3, connectivity via VPN, and compute on EC2. The AWS Partner Funding program co-funded the contract, reducing the net cost to the client.
Results
Hoteligy ran its SaaS on a multi-region AWS infrastructure with high-availability databases and production failover, and inter-network connectivity via VPC Peering. The relationship unfolded collaboratively — including an agreed, documented pause — with no conflicts, and with cost leveraged by AWS co-investment.
