AWS migration assessment and proof of concept for Fulter Logistics
Fulter (Fulter Logistics Argentina S.A.) is a logistics company in Argentina. Craftech ran an AWS migration assessment of its legacy stack and executed proofs of concept to validate the feasibility of moving to the cloud.
Challenge
Fulter ran a mixed legacy stack across on-premise and Azure AD —Windows Server, a legacy ERP and SQL Server— and needed to rigorously assess the technical and cost feasibility of migrating those workloads to AWS before committing to a full migration.
Solution
Craftech ran a migration assessment supported by AWS Application Migration Service and AWS VM Import/Export, standing up proofs of concept on temporary AWS resources to validate moving the ERP and databases, and delivered the corresponding feasibility report.
Results
Fulter received a migration assessment with successful proofs of concept that validated the feasibility of the move to AWS. The temporary PoC resources were decommissioned in an orderly way; the full production migration remained the pending next step, outside the scope of this stage.
