Managed AWS infrastructure for fintech Fillip, with no in-house DevOps team
Fillip (Tycoon Enterprises S.A. de C.V.) is a Mexican fintech running in production. Craftech implemented and operated its infrastructure on AWS, giving a company with no DevOps team of its own a foundation for compute, data, and deployment on the cloud.
Challenge
Fillip ran a fintech product in production without an internal infrastructure function, leaving its compute, databases, and deployments without dedicated technical management. It needed a reliable, maintainable AWS foundation to sustain the business's operation.
Solution
Craftech built Fillip's infrastructure on AWS with compute on EC2 and containerized applications with Docker, a managed database with Amazon RDS, application deployment on Elastic Beanstalk, networking with VPC, image registry with ECR, and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
Results
Fillip was left with an orderly production infrastructure on AWS — compute, managed data, automated deployment, and defined networking — operated by an external team in the absence of in-house DevOps. The implemented foundation sustained the fintech's operation throughout the engagement.
