Infrastructure assessment and Kubernetes roadmap on AWS for Examedi, digital health
Examedi is a digital health company based in Chile. Craftech ran an assessment of its infrastructure on AWS and delivered a modernization roadmap toward Kubernetes, as part of an AWS-funded project.
Challenge
Examedi ran a digital health platform on AWS with a stack based on Django, Celery, Redis and PostgreSQL over ECS and EC2, and needed an expert review of its architecture and a modernization path to sustain its growth.
Solution
Craftech carried out a survey and assessment of Examedi's infrastructure on AWS —ECS, EC2, VPC with peering, Django/Celery/Redis and PostgreSQL— and produced a proposal and a modernization roadmap toward Kubernetes, delivering the corresponding documents.
Results
Examedi received an assessment of its AWS infrastructure and a Kubernetes modernization roadmap as actionable deliverables. Implementation of the roadmap remained the pending next step, outside the scope of this stage.
