Success Story
Digiventures modernizes its financial onboarding to multi-account Amazon EKS, with CI/CD up to 3x faster
Digiventures is a technology company providing digital onboarding and lead-capture solutions to financial institutions —banks and factoring firms— to digitize customer acquisition. It operates through two group entities (Argentina and Mexico). Craftech delivered a modernization of its AWS infrastructure toward a multi-account container architecture.

API deployments (from 5-6 min)
3-4 min
frontend deployments (from 6-7 min)
Challenge
Digiventures faced operational and financial risk from an architecture that broke AWS Well-Architected best practices: everything concentrated in a single root account, with QA, Staging and Production exposed to cross-impact, uncontrolled access and poor traceability. Critical resources were needlessly exposed to the internet without segmentation, monthly spend was high due to Elastic Beanstalk and EC2, and deployments were slow (5-7 minutes) with little visibility for developers. The legacy platform limited horizontal scalability.
Solution
Craftech designed and implemented a container-based modernization grounded in AWS governance practices. The Onboarding service was migrated (from Elastic Beanstalk, Lambdas and EC2) to a multi-account architecture on Amazon EKS, with effective environment segmentation (PRD, STG, QA). Unnecessary public exposure was removed by adopting private networks and VPN-only access, ArgoCD was introduced for GitOps deployments with fast rollbacks, a modern observability stack (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki) was deployed, and most resources were moved to Infrastructure as Code for traceability and DR planning.
Results
The modernization reshaped Digiventures' operations. An estimated ~40% cost saving was projected, with ROI expected within 4 months once the legacy infrastructure is fully decommissioned. Deployment times dropped from 5-6 to 1-2 minutes for APIs and from 6-7 to 3-4 minutes for frontends. Cross-impact risk and public service exposure were eliminated, improving security and governance, leaving an Amazon EKS platform ready to scale and for future optimizations (ARM instances, shutdown policies).
