AWS architecture assessment and data roadmap for CMT (healthcare)
CMT is a healthcare organization in Chile. Craftech ran a technical assessment on AWS — fully funded through AWS Partner Funding — surveying its infrastructure and proposing an improvement roadmap and a Data Warehouse, in a diagnostic stage prior to any implementation.
Challenge
CMT needed a precise diagnosis of its infrastructure and data before committing to investments: understanding the state of its databases, its connectivity, and its identity management, and assessing the feasibility of centralizing information in a Data Warehouse, with the security requirements typical of the healthcare sector.
Solution
Craftech carried out a structured assessment on AWS: a database survey, connectivity analysis via Site-to-Site VPN with Bionet, and a review of access management with IAM Identity Center. Based on the survey it produced an improvement roadmap and a Data Warehouse architecture proposal to consolidate and exploit the business's information.
Results
CMT was left with an As-Is diagnosis of its infrastructure and an actionable improvement roadmap, plus a concrete Data Warehouse proposal as a basis for future decisions. The engagement, scoped to diagnosis, identified implementation opportunities that did not lead to a follow-on contract.
